Nan Hinna He

PhD student, School of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University

Hello, I am Nan He, an incoming PhD student in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University, starting in August 2026. I received my bachelor's degree from the Department of Bioinformatics, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Southern Medical University, where I was supervised by Prof. Guangchuang Yu.

My research interests lie at the intersection of bioinformatics, computational biology, and biomedical data science. I am particularly interested in developing biomedical software and algorithms, integrating and analyzing multi-omics data, and applying machine learning methods to understand complex biological systems.

I am also interested in AI for Science, especially how modern computational methods can support reproducible biological discovery, translational research, and scalable analysis of high-dimensional biomedical data.

Bioinformatics Computational Biology Biomedical Software Multi-omics Machine Learning AI for Science

Biomedical software

Building reproducible R tools and analysis workflows for large-scale biomedical and epidemiological data.

Multi-omics analysis

Integrating heterogeneous biological data to identify interpretable signals and disease-relevant patterns.

Predictive modeling

Applying machine learning to risk stratification, biomarker discovery, and data-driven biomedical research.

UKBAnalytica

An R package for scalable UK Biobank phenotyping and reproducible analysis is now available on CRAN.
